My name is Kyrie Mixson. I am a junior in high school. For the past few years I've been interested in photography. However, within the year I've realized I'm not all that bad. I immediately fell totally in love. I've gone a number of years wondering what my talent was. My friends are all musicians so I was confused why I wasn't musically talented. And now I've found my niche in photography. 

 

Photography is my escape. I'm constantly seeing situations that I wish I could photograph. To me it's the way to feel important. A way to know the unknowing. To take a picture and post it somewhere on social media is great, but knowing what was behind taking that photo is an even better satisfaction. I've always been the one who likes being behind the camera rather than in the picture.

 

I'm a risk-taker. The average dare devil. Your standard swashbuckler. An adventurer. However, I'll be the first to admit that i am so much more than that.
